I only gave them a four stars because I don't really care for the corn too much. It's too soft for me and get stuck in my teeth more than firm corn. But this place is always crowded They always have decent customer service tons of items to choose from and it is pretty good. Not my favorite but it is a local favorite.!

The tamales here are usually extremely good, and quite large for their prices. They're also pre-prepared and wrapped in tinfoil: you should get your order very quickly (a few minutes), and take out should stay hot for some time.I'd especially recommend:* "red sauce w/ chicken tamale wrapped in corn leaves"; and* "green sauce w/ pork tamale wrapped in banana leaves."There are lots of cold treats here, like ice cream, smoothies, shakes, and Mexican-style frozen fruit desserts; such things are not really to my tastes, and appear more expensive than I'd prefer.Service is fine, but English may be a second language.A #37 bus stop headed SE is right next by; and a #37 stop, headed NW, is across the street.

I am extremely upset!I typically visit this place regularly but I will never go there again after being charged an additional $4 without the them letting me know.I’m assuming it was because I used a card but if there’s an extra fee for using a card, that should be disclosed before swiping someone’s card!My order was $17.50, I checked my account just to see that they actually took $21.50!That is technically stealing from a person.I typically recommend this place to people but I never will again!When I handed the guy my card, in the drive-thru, he should’ve told me that there’s an additional fee, therefore, I would’ve used cash instead!Extremely upsetting!
