a fly is what i found in my carvel today.Never have i went to carvel and there is bad odor made me gag multiple times.He was nice at first but then when i told him about the fly in ice cream he said it could have came from outside when i had a lid on it.I had to eat a few scoops before even seeing the fly.He told me it could have came from my hair.I dont know if he is the owner but he is very rude. A guy with glasses made my sister very upset.Treat your customers better and call in the health department.This is disgusting,they need to be shut down.I too will be callin the health department and takin certain actions.

This location is LACKING flavors. They didn't have the cold brew and missing a ton of other hard ice creams. They didn't even have the salted Carmel flavor that they're advertising on a big poster. Ended up getting a standard vanilla soft serve and it was off. Not sure what's off in their recipe but it's too fatty. I think they're using some sort of milk substitute that's used in the stuff you find in the supermarket under frozen desert. Who ever runs this franchise needs to consult with the people that run the Morris Park location so they can fix the formula for their ice cream and also start carrying more flavors. Having grown up eating carvel and getting carvel cakes for every birthday, it's disappointing that this location is the one closest to me. Uncle Louies is a few blocks down East Tremont and is way better so I recommend going there instead.Updating from 1 star to 3 because the ice cream cakes have been good. Then again Cestra's Bakery now has Ice cream cakes, so only going here if I absolutely need to.

7/5/24 @ 7:15pm. Ordered a chocolate soft ice cream with chocolate crunchies. . The flavor of the ice cream has changed. Not the original flavor. Sorry, not going again. If you are going to raise prices, keep the ingredients the same. Cutting corners is going to put you out of business.
