You know, like they actually want you to feel like you got your money’s worth. Instead, they daintily dropped a scoop smack in the middle of the cup like they were afraid of overfeeding me, leaving enough empty space to rent out as a studio apartment.And it’s not just me. Scroll through the reviews and you’ll see a recurring theme: “Where’s the ice cream?” It’s like a dairy-themed game of Hide and Seek, except the ice cream is losing… and so are we. Cold Stone’s responses? Oh, they read the complaints. They reply politely. And then? Nothing. Lip service topped with sprinkles of “we’re not changing a thing.”And the prices? Brace yourself: $20 for two mid-sized cups of ice cream. For that, I was hoping for a life-changing dessert experience. What I got was a reminder that I should have just gone to one of those places where they’re happy to pile it high without a side of regret.Not returning.
