This location is not off to a good start. I have to be honest, I love Cold Stone's ice cream and was excited for this to open so close to Embrey Mill. My experience this evening was, however, just bizarre.1) The kid who took my order only wanted me to give him one order at a time (I was getting two love-it sizes in waffle bowls). When he finished the first, I was still standing in the same place in line. He got the attention of a couple who were sitting down, telling them their order was finished. The confused couple told him that wasn't their order. I had to flag him down. Like he literally forgot I made the order and I was standing right there the whole time.2) I had a coupon for a BOGO free love it size. One ice cream would be free, but I'd have to pay for upgrades like the waffle cones. It was pretty straightforward. The guy at the register told me I couldn't use the coupon because the order has to be "one waffle bowl and one cone" (huh?). I said, fine, put one in a cone then. He tells me "it doesn't work like that." So I asked to read the coupon, and of course, it says nothing about that. After talking with someone else, he rang me up as a BOGO like he was doing me a favor. Couldn't he just read the coupon? What is so hard about that?Finally, the waffle bowls tasted stale, which is weird for a store that's only been open a few days. I really hope things improve.
