D'Lish!, located in the small and charming village of Bloomington, Wisconsin, is a local gem that has quickly become a favorite destination for anyone seeking a sweet treat. This family and veteran-owned ice cream shop is a testament to community pride and a commitment to quality. D'Lish! proudly serves super premium, hand-dipped ice cream from Wisconsin-based Chocolate Shoppe, a brand known for its rich and creamy creations. This focus on locally sourced, high-quality products is a key part of what makes D'Lish! so special. The shop offers a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, where customers are often greeted by the owners themselves with constant smiles. While the small-town charm is undeniable, D'Lish! is a place that brings big flavor and a delightful experience to everyone who visits during its seasonal operating months.
The unique creations and classic offerings at D'Lish! have earned it a loyal following. Customers are enthusiastic about both the quality of the ice cream and the friendliness of the staff. One reviewer noted that the employees, who they believed were the owners, were "super-friendly and constantly smiling," which creates an incredibly positive and welcoming environment. Another highlight is the availability of dairy-free options, making the shop a destination for those with dietary needs. This thoughtful inclusion of non-dairy items, such as vegan/dairy-free Italian Ices that can be blended into "Chillers" and the availability of Oat milk for shakes, ensures that everyone can enjoy a treat. D'Lish! also offers special treats for canine companions with "Pup Cups," and a portion of the proceeds from the sale of dog biscuits made by a local school is donated to local animal shelters at the end of the season. This commitment to community and animal welfare further endears the business to its patrons. The new space is described as "cute" and "very friendly," though some customers have noted that service can be slow, which is understandable given its newness and small-town setting. The overall feeling, however, is one of a warm, inviting, and community-focused business that is well worth a visit.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Great ice cream with some unique creations! The employees (the owners, I think,) were super-friendly and constantly smiling! We'll definitely be coming back, now that we've found this place! It's a shame it's only open seasonally, though it's understandable, given how small Bloomington is. But we'd definitely recommend checking them out during the summer months for a cool treat! And they cater to dogs, too!
September 16 · Adam LIce cream is fantastic and new space is cute. Very Friendly.Seems like they're still new - very slow. You can GO inside, but cannot EAT inside. (I think)Non-dairy options!
July 23 · Nathan YoungDelicious ice cream and friendly service. Cannot recommend highly enough. Especially appreciate the nondairy and vegan options. Truly something for everyone here.
May 25 · Kel HugheyDriving back to DBQ, IA we saw that sign! All I wanted to see was were it said ICE CREAM!In Bloomington, Wisconsin we found a fix to our ice cream craze. D’Lish has only been open a month and Dawn Drew and her husband are knocking it out of the park here. You can walk in or walk up to the window to order. We choose inside and glad we did. Not a large area but plenty of smiles, variety of ice cream choices and super service. Libby, one of her seven employees took our order as Dawn served us up. Instead of me telling you what we had I suggest you check them out. Ok…I will give you a glue what mine had. Chocolate and mint on a waffle cone. They do have different size dishes for those who prefer ice cream without a cone. Lots of choices and things to order. We sat just outside on their benches and were eating when lucky us Dawn came out for a break. She sat with us and we learned so much about how this town supports their local businesses. She could not be more thankful for all the local support. Patti, my wife and I were blessed again today to meet Dawn and here tasty business. As we sat there cars would drive by and wave as Dawn called out their names to say hello. Is that love for your community or what? Thanks Libby and Dawn will will be back. For anyone heading within 25 miles of Bloomington, Wisconsin make a detour and stop here. You will be glad you did!!!!!Thanks Dawn.Jorge and Patti RangelDubuque, Iowa.Empty Nester’s on the run.
