★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 13 stars for food 5 stars for price point. Unfortunately only outdoor seating so my ice cream melted super fast in mid July. It’s a great place if your on a budget for ice cream. Noting amazing taste standard. Had banana split and asked for half because I hate wasting food it was still enormous so you can share and both can get your fill with the amount. There are other fried food options, like pulled pork sandwiches, fries nachos, hot dogs etc.
July 13 · Terry NWifey wanted a banana split, so we decided to pull over. She had already started eating the banana split before I remembered to take a pic, but this banana split was beautiful when she received it. I only ordered a chili dog, it was good, with shredded cheese and onions. Everything on the menu looked fairly priced, we'll definitely be back before the summer is over
June 21 · Cory WaltonAmazing rich custard like ice cream. My favorite is the pineapple ice cream with red coating. Sounds weird but so yummy. Their chocolate is nice and creamy. Their coating is so good it just cracks off and melts in your mouth. They have chocolate, butterscotch, and red (cherry?) topping. They can’t do sprinkles and topping though. Hot dogs are boiled and taste a little weird but they’re cheap and good. Easy and soft to get down in a few bites. Best part is the prices! An ice cream that doesn’t cost 10-15$ is good in my book. 10/10 will always go back even if I have to wait in that long line.
June 23 · Ray LongSince the new owners took over last summer this spot has gone down hill. I have tried a couple times in the past two years, the service was poor unsatisfactory and slow. The conditions are not as pristine and the servers barely greet you with a smile. The double lines definitely create mass confusion between the line for ordering and window for pick up. Now you’re given an order receipt and you wait separately-just hoping your milkshake will have the right consistency this time. Welp it is watery again but you can’t blame a girl for wishing! I’ve been a regular customer for as far back as I can remember. My father took me for day outings as I did the same with my kids who are now young adults. I use to call it literally our favorite place on earth. As a family we visited at least 2-3 times weekly during the summers. The magic of this place is gone. There’s not much left but shorter lines, tattered left receipts on the parking lot ground, and a few watery milk shakes served daily.
July 11 · Kaye LawlisI am so upset about this! I used to live on Lilly two streets down and went all the time! This was 8 years ago. I would get a chili dog and a shake or soft serve with a hardened shell. I went today and bragged about it to my mom, she is a dairy del gal, and I had a hair in my chili dog and my shake is so watery it isn’t even worth drinking. At least my moms vanilla and orange sherbert twist was good. I don’t think I could come back and waste my money.. 😭😭
