★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1GEM!Stopped in on a very hot DC day (90+ degrees!) and this cone was exactly what I needed. I got a small with two scoops: blueberry lavender and black & white cookie batter… on a sugar cone. The flavors were super creamy and interesting without being too sweet. Preferred the black and white cookie. Ended up needing a cup because the melt was real, but hey, not their fault on one of the hottest days of the year. The shop itself is adorable with exposed brick, cozy counter seating, and a solid coffee setup too if you’re craving more than gelato. Loved that the flavor board had unique combos like pineapple honey lime and roasted strawberry.Perfect for a solo sweet treat or a cute spot to wrap up a date. Will definitely be back to try more flavors!
June 22 · Catie VoglioAn awesome small coffee and gelato spot. While in DC, I stopped in for my daily latte and almond croissant. The coffee was excellent and the croissant was heavenly. I was able to sit at a community table and enjoy my coffee and croissant. The staff was super helpful and efficient.
July 01 · Andres AyalaHonestly never really finish my ice cream when I go out to places but this place had such unique and delicious flavors I finished my two scoops so quick. I got the double fudge chocolate something and strawberry. Vibes were very chill too
July 03 · Emma ChoAmazing gelato and coffee!! The employees are also super nice and helpful. They also made an effort to chat and recommend gelato flavors to us as well. Very welcoming atmosphere. Definitely wanna come back here
April 04 · Kairi MoyerI recently visited Dolcezza and, judging by the long line, I expected it to be good—and it mostly lived up to the hype. The dark chocolate fudge gelato was delicious: very rich and sugary, but definitely satisfying if you have a sweet tooth. The portion was on the smaller side and, honestly, a bit expensive for what you get.I asked for a tricolor sorbet for my daughter, but unfortunately, they didn’t do it. I suppose they were just too busy to accommodate special requests at the time, which was a little disappointing.Overall, Dolcezza offers quality gelato and a lively atmosphere, but be prepared for a wait, higher prices, and the possibility that not all requests can be met during busy hours. Still, it’s a nice treat if you’re in the area!
