Haagen-Dazs Introduce
For many New Yorkers, the Häagen-Dazs brand is a symbol of premium, high-quality ice cream. The name itself suggests a commitment to classic flavors and a luxurious dessert experience. In the charming village of Bronxville, a local Häagen-Dazs shop on Park Place provides this experience to the Westchester community. This location serves as a convenient spot for residents to indulge in the brand's renowned flavors, from classic vanilla to more complex creations.
This article is a comprehensive and factual guide to this specific Häagen-Dazs location. We will provide an overview of its services, location, and the features that define it. Importantly, we will also address recent customer feedback directly and honestly, offering a balanced perspective for locals who are considering a visit. The goal is to provide clear, engaging information that helps you make an informed decision.
The Häagen-Dazs brand has a long-standing reputation for using high-quality ingredients to create rich, creamy ice cream. This reputation often draws customers who are seeking a consistently good product. The Bronxville shop benefits from this brand recognition, and many people visit because they know and trust the flavors. A customer mentioned that their family purchases a cookies and cream ice cream cake from this specific location every year, which highlights the shop's role in local traditions and celebrations.
However, it is crucial to present a complete picture, and recent customer reviews have brought some significant concerns to light regarding the service at this location. One reviewer recounted a very negative experience when trying to inquire about an ice cream cake. They described a staff member as "rather rude," using phrases like "You want it today, not gonna happen" in a dismissive manner. The reviewer's subsequent conversation with their partner revealed that this wasn't an isolated incident, but a recurring issue, as their partner "mentioned every time" receiving a similar attitude. This kind of feedback is serious, as it points to a pattern of poor customer service rather than a one-off bad day.
Another review echoes this sentiment, stating that a short "Indian looking man, I believe his name is Shaizad, has disgusting attitude. Rude to customers and workers from what I’ve witnessed. Miserable every time I go and order." The reviewer concluded that the "Best thing this place can do is fire this guy!" These reviews are highly specific and point to a consistent problem with a particular individual's behavior. For locals who are considering a visit, this is a very important piece of information to have.
These reviews show a potential disconnect between the high quality of the Häagen-Dazs products and the quality of the service at this specific location. While the ice cream itself may be excellent, the customer experience is a critical component of any local business. This article aims to provide that factual information, allowing you to weigh the convenience and the brand's premium offerings against the reported customer service issues.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I dislike doing this however - went to ask about an ice cream cake. And, the smaller East Indian look person was rather rude."You want it today, not gonna happen" So, I reframed the question to give him a chance to correct his demeanor. He did not. I left immediately.Went home and asked my partner - hey did you get attitude from dude at Hagen Daz. She mentioned every time. We purchase our son a cookies and cream ice cream cake every year. And, this year it was on me to go pick it up.Sadly, I will not be picking anything up from there ever. Life long Town of Eastchester resident here - and its sad to report this. - SIGH -
April 30 · Keith "Kayo" OvertonThe short Indian looking man, I believe his name is Shaizad, has disgusting attitude. Rude to customers and workers from what I’ve witnessed. Miserable every time I go and order. Makes my experience bad every time. Best thing this place can do is fire this guy!
July 14 · Angel FloresI witnessed a male employee aggressively confronting a group of women, demanding that they leave the restaurant due to supposed complaints from other customers. These women had purchased ice cream from the kind cashier at the counter and were simply sitting at their table. His behavior appeared to be unjustified and, unfortunately, seemed influenced by the fact that they were speaking Spanish. While I recognize that this area is affluent and predominantly white, such treatment is completely unacceptable. I hope this incident does not reflect the company’s values and that appropriate steps are taken to ensure all customers are treated with dignity and respect moving forward.
March 03 · Herbert PerrymanThey are definitely scammers. I got a 1 scoop waffle cone, and this man charges me for a waffle cone 1.99 and then proceeds to charge me for a cup, 8.49. So like 10 - 11 dollars for a regular chocolate scoop with a waffle cone! I been to other locations and have never been charged like that. I confronted him about it. And he just like oh its the same price. I have never payed more than 5-7 dollars at other locations for the exact same thing. I am reporting them to corporate
June 29 · Andrea LocklearI'm a U.S. Army Military Veteran and a Hagen Dazs Rewards Member. I frequent the Bronvville, NY store. I went there today and ordered my usual for my wife and myself. For my wife, I ordered a Black and White shake with whipped cream. For myself, I ordered a very thick chocolate shake with whipped cream. Our server, Nayeem, said it would be $5:00 extra for the extra scoop of ice cream to make it thick. I said I ordered it before and if It was extra, it was $1:50 not $5:00. I said forget it, Just give it to me a little thicker. He finished making it and gave it to me with no whipped cream like I asked for. He took it back and put whipped cream on them. I told him I usually get a Military discount and he asked for my ID even though I was wearing a US Army Veteran's mask.He was condescending and abrupt. I showed my ID and paid with my discount. All previous times I ordered in the store, I never had a problem or felt like my server was doing me a favor by letting me buy a shake. He should have been more professional and friendly. Nayeem couldn't work for me for 5 seconds. I have always encountered friendly, accommodating people behind the counter. I will be sure to tell all my Military fellow Veterans to think twice about buying at Hagan Dazs and especially this Bronxville, NY Store! Hooah & Semper Fi
