June 26 · R TNice new clean and bright place. Great assortment of ice cream flavors. I was there for my first time recently and will definitely go back. This is my new favorite ice cream place.
July 15 · James VallandinghamThis place has been here for years! They must be doing something right! If you want a good and tasty ice cream, then this is your place. It’s not the best I’ve ever had but it’s really very good. I had the dairy free option and I had 2 choices. This was a novelty for me because there’s usually just one dairy free option! I had dairy free cookie dough with marshmallow topping and it was really delicious. My friend had chocolate chip mint and she said how tasty hers was.The only criticism would be is the ridiculously long line every evening! We ordered somewhat early in the evening (around 8:30pm) and the line wasn’t too bad. But sometimes the line is as long as the miniature golf course on the next block!
August 20 · Suzanne Cantwell BirkinMy family stops at Hassles each year we're in Wildwood for both mini golf and ice cream. We always have fun golfing and the ice cream is delicious! Friendly workers as well.
July 10 · Valerie NelsonI’m extremely disappointed by the experience my family and I had at Hassel’s Ice Cream. We were skipped in line by staff, even though we had been waiting patiently, and it felt very intentional. What made it even more disturbing is that this wasn’t an isolated incident — another part of our family visited at a different time and experienced the exact same thing. It’s hard not to see a pattern here, especially when we were the only people of color in line both times. The behavior from staff — avoiding eye contact, ignoring us when it was clearly our turn, and prioritizing others behind us — was blatant and disheartening. No one should feel unwelcome or unseen when supporting a local business. I sincerely hope this was not racially motivated, but two separate incidents involving the same family are too much to ignore.Until this is addressed seriously by management, I can’t recommend this place to anyone.
