For those in and around the Henry County region of Kentucky, finding a spot that combines the simple pleasures of a day on the farm with the sweet reward of homemade ice cream can feel like striking gold. Jericho Farmhouse is exactly that—a cherished local establishment that has grown from its dairy farming roots into a community hub. It's not just an ice cream shop; it's an experience that celebrates local agriculture, community, and the joy of good food.
Born from a family's determination to save their multi-generational dairy farm, Jericho Farmhouse has transformed into a destination. After facing the unexpected closure of their milk processor, the Coombs family pivoted, creating a place where they could continue to share their passion for the land. They began making their own ice cream, and in the process, they built a vibrant farm market that offers so much more. This is a place where you can relax, spend quality time with loved ones, and support local farmers and artisans. It’s an authentic slice of Kentucky life, welcoming families from Eminence, LaGrange, and beyond to enjoy a friendly, laid-back atmosphere.
Nestled in the picturesque countryside of Smithfield, Kentucky, Jericho Farmhouse is conveniently located just a short drive from several neighboring communities. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This is a little slice of farm life heaven. Check out their country store filled with cute gifts and farm merch. Peep inside the freezers and be wowed by the extensive selection of quality meats. End your journey with as many scoops of homemade ice cream as possible. I enjoyed every single one I tried as I sat overlooking the moo-moos out back. I will return soon.

We enjoyed it so much I wanted more for breakfast..alas, we had to leave and they didn’t open until noon. Nice and quite, very clean and the young lady that waited on us was sweet like the ice cream.
