---## Services Offered
- Original Frozen Custard: Kohr Bros. is legendary for its unique frozen custard, made from Archie Kohr's original 1919 recipe. This product is distinct from regular ice cream, having a lower fat and sugar content while containing egg yolks, which give it a remarkably smooth, silky, and creamy texture, often described as similar to frosting.
- Variety of Flavors: Customers can enjoy a range of single flavors or twist combinations. Classic offerings typically include vanilla and chocolate, alongside a wide variety of real fruit and other delicious flavors. Popular choices often include vanilla and orange custard twists, and peanut butter and chocolate swirls.
- Cones and Cups: The frozen custard is served in traditional cones (cake, sugar, or waffle) or convenient cups, catering to customer preference.
- Milkshakes and Malts: The signature frozen custard forms the base for their creamy milkshakes and malts, offering a sippable version of their beloved treat.
- Cruisin' Smoothies®: For a lighter, refreshing option, Kohr Bros. also offers smoothies made with their frozen custard.
- Snowstorms®: Similar to a concrete or blizzard, Snowstorms® blend various mix-ins with their frozen custard for a customizable, dense, and delightful treat.
- Sundaes: Customers can enjoy classic sundaes built with their choice of frozen custard and a selection of toppings.
- Pre-packed Quarts/Pints: While not explicitly stated for this location, many Kohr Bros. locations offer pre-packed quarts or pints of their frozen custard for take-home enjoyment.

---## Conclusion: Why This Place is Suitable for Locals
For anyone in Delaware, especially those who frequent Rehoboth Beach, Kohr Bros. is an undeniable local gem and an integral part of the boardwalk experience. Its accessible location at 5 Rehoboth Ave puts it squarely in the bustling heart of the beach town, making it a convenient stop whether you're soaking up the sun, enjoying the attractions, or simply taking an evening stroll. What truly makes Kohr Bros. a suitable and cherished spot for locals is its historical significance and its commitment to providing a truly unique frozen custard. The product's distinctive "frosting-like" texture – rich, creamy, and silky – sets it apart from typical ice cream and has cultivated a loyal following for over a century. This original recipe, made with quality ingredients and offering a less-fatty option than standard ice cream, appeals to a wide demographic. However, it's also important for locals to be aware of mixed customer service experiences. One recent review explicitly noted rude workers and an instance where a customer was pressured to take a "halfway melted" cone, leading to a "snarky attitude" when declined. While the product itself is consistently praised for being "really really good" and worth returning for, potential visitors should manage expectations regarding staff interactions. Despite these occasional service concerns, the enduring appeal of its authentic frozen custard and its deep-rooted status as a Rehoboth Beach boardwalk tradition ensures that Kohr Bros. remains a beloved, iconic destination for a refreshing and memorable treat in Delaware.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Me and my friends were very excited to try this ice cream, went and ordered and workers were very rude. One of them was standing behind the register with a premade vanilla cone (looked like from a previous customer who didn’t want it), when my friend had ordered a vanilla cone, the worker holding the ice cream was insisting that she takes the one she was holding but it was already halfway melted. When declined, a snarky attitude was given. Very disappointed
July 10 · AaliyahThe ice cream is frozen custard, but it had a very different texture from other custards, sort of like a frosting. It was really really good, would definitely go again
April 16 · James HallahanDelicious light custard with good macros. 140 cals, 4 g fat and 16 g carbs per small serving. I tried their vanilla/chocolate, vanilla/orange sherbet, and strawberry/banana. They were all creamy, not too sweet, but just perfect. The lines are always long in the evening but there are 3 locations within a block of each other. You can taste test the flavors and the people working are very nice. Totally recommend!
August 03 · Karla DieseldorffA guilty pleasure... There's just something perfect about frozen custard at the beach.
April 28 · Jerry McKinleyThe ice cream here is a solid, this is a good place to go while on the boardwalk. The frozen custard is delicious, the staff is nice, the ice cream is creamy, and the prices are surprisingly not that unreasonable. So I will most likely come again to Kohr Bros. And I would recommend giving it a try for yourself.
