Krispy Kream Drive In Introduce
In the heart of Belsano, Pennsylvania, a roadside spot has been a part of the local landscape for decades: the Krispy Kream Drive In. This long-standing establishment has a rich history, with lifelong residents often referring to it affectionately as "The Cow," a nod to the cow statue that once stood proudly beneath its sign. This drive-in has been serving classic soft-serve and hand-dipped ice cream since at least 1970, making it a familiar and cherished destination for generations of Pennsylvanians. For many, a trip here is a walk down memory lane, a chance to enjoy a simple, sweet treat in a classic setting that has been part of the community for a very long time.
The drive-in has a history that speaks to its local roots, having been run by the Hoover family for decades. The legacy of the original establishment lives on, as it remains a place where you can find everything from towering cones and thick milkshakes to banana splits and sundaes piled high with toppings. While some recent reviews have expressed concerns about changes under new ownership, particularly regarding portion sizes, pricing, and service quality, the enduring history of the business remains a point of interest for many. These recent challenges highlight the difficulties that can come with transitions in a beloved local business, but the core of what the drive-in represents—a classic, hometown ice cream spot—remains a powerful draw for the community.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The place really sucks!! On July 21, 2025 we ordered two large Vanilla soft serve ice cream cones. Their large is truly a JOKE, they were beyond puny, they were served in "Kiddy"cones, another joke, the price was a joke too; $4.75 each! On top of all this they allow dogs on the premises, they were pooping on the grounds where their picnic tables were, pretty disgusting!!! Our very first and very LAST time going!
July 21 · Richard StantonWe got ice cream here the other day and the chocolate soft serve gave us all food poisoning. The new staff isn't being trained well. The new black signs are absolutely terrible and unreadable. The red velvet cheesecake flurry tasted sandy and sick as well. The serving sizes are getting smaller every time.Every since the new owners took over and started changing things, this place sucks now. Which is so upsetting as it used to be great.
June 29 · Tatianna SchillingStopped by for a treat and was happy to find a great crew, large menu, generous portions and a lovely sitting area in the back. $2.79 for a soft serve is a great deal. In the few minutes I was there many cars pulled in and everyone left smiling 🙂
May 17 · Jenn GrayGirls were super sweet and hard workers. Place is clean and beautiful areas to sit. Prices went way up, serving size is pathetic. My husband loves soft serve and got the size of a McDonald's ice cream despite ordering a large. I got cheesecake flurry which started great and then tasted like sand. I'm over the everywhere is expensive excuse and I'm saddened with the fact that we are done coming back.
May 24 · MissyThey have the best ice cream in at least a 50 mile radius. Friendly staff, delicious sundae recipes, clean sitting area. 10/10 recommend
