★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Not a great experience for me. The original ice cream I ordered wasn't good. It had too many chunky almond pieces in it. I asked for a replacement and they gave me a way less full cup with little ice cream, it was mostly a hard chocolate dip that stuck to the sides of the cup and was a lardy and flavorless texture. I couldn't get a good bite out of either ice creams.I ordered a small sundae. I'm not sure if any of the toppings were included, but I was charged extra. For $4.50, the amount I originally received was OK but the least amount I've ever gotten from an ice cream place.
May 10 · Kathy GarvinThe ice cream is absolutely amazing. My favorite flavor is chocolate. It is especially exceptional here!!!!
June 20 · Julia LefkowitzAmazing ice-cream.. would really love to add a dairy free option to sweeten the deal
June 20 · Sahil S_17While visiting the area recently, we saw that this place was still open. Back in the 60’s (yes, the 60’s) I would spend summers at my grandmother’s in Richmondale. My aunts would bring me to this ice cream stand often. (Sorry, no idea what the name of it was then.) It was great to see the ice cream is as good now as I remember it. Nice having picnic tables there to just sit any enjoy the summer atmosphere. Don’t know if the same ownership has had it for all these years, but it was nice to see something stay constant in Simpson.
July 29 · Jim WaurinMy wife and I checked this place out on a beautiful Saturday night, and it was excellent in every way, right down to the many locals there with their families and children. It was one of the best parts of visiting Carbondale! We had awesome chili cheese dogs, shakes and ice cream, and they were great. After driving away I wanted to turn around and go back for more!!
