milton's ice cream parlor menu
Nestled in the heart of ChocolateTown, USA, Milton's Ice Cream Parlor is a beloved destination for residents and visitors alike. This establishment is more than just a place to grab a scoop; it’s a tribute to the legacy of Milton S. Hershey, the visionary behind the sweet town we know today. Inspired by Mr. Hershey's early ventures, particularly his time as an apprentice at a Lancaster candy maker's ice cream parlor, this shop carries a piece of local history in every cone. For those of us living in Pennsylvania, Milton’s represents a fusion of classic American desserts with the rich heritage of the Hershey community. It’s a place where families can create new memories while honoring the past, all with a delicious treat in hand.
Milton's Ice Cream Parlor stands out for its commitment to quality and a truly local experience. The parlor's "Ice Creamologists" craft custom creations using over a dozen unique, house-made ice cream flavors. What makes these treats especially noteworthy is the use of 100% local dairy, ensuring a fresh and creamy taste that you can’t find just anywhere. Some of the signature flavors, like Candymonium and Malted Memories, even draw inspiration from the very theme park it's located next to, making the experience authentically Hershey. While the focus is on frozen desserts, Milton's also offers a selection of other delectable items, providing something for every kind of craving. Whether you’re looking for a quick bite or a decadent sundae, the parlor promises a memorable, sweet escape right here in our own backyard.
The atmosphere of Milton’s is designed to be both nostalgic and modern. It’s a place that feels like a classic ice cream parlor from a bygone era but with all the amenities and excitement of a contemporary eatery. The decor and ambiance transport you to a simpler time, evoking a sense of community and joy that Milton Hershey himself worked to cultivate. It's not just about the food; it's about the experience of gathering with friends and family in a space that celebrates our shared heritage. The staff is trained to be true "Ice Creamologists," ready to guide you through the flavor selection and help you build the perfect sundae. This personalized service adds to the charm, making every visit feel special.
In addition to the main parlor, Milton's commitment to accessibility and convenience is evident through other services. During the summer, an ice cream truck often operates within The Boardwalk at Hersheypark, allowing guests to enjoy their favorite flavors without having to travel back to the main location. This is a great perk for locals who are spending the day at the park. The full menu, which includes savory items and not just ice cream, means you could even make a full meal out of your visit. Some of the unique savory options, like the Hershey's Chocolate Barbecue Sauce on a pulled pork sandwich, show a creative and playful take on local flavors. The parlor's dedication to providing a full culinary experience, from sweet to savory, makes it a versatile spot for any occasion.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My favorite desserts in Hershey- their new donuts are so good and I get the melted chocolate on everything. Definitely recommend the toasted marshmallow ice cream with melted chocolate as well as pair the two of those with warm beignets. Cold brew was just meh and everything was overpriced but oh well when you’re on vacation, right?
July 09 · KristenMy husband and I stopped in for a quick treat before leaving Hersheypark. He got the ice cream which is decently priced and very creamy. I got a chocolate peanut butter donut and do not recommend. The peanut butter filling was delicious. The donut was stale and disappointing.
July 08 · Lauren McIntireI love Hersheypark and this ice cream parlor is such a good idea for Hershey. It’s so poorly run though. Tons of cashiers and they ca. barely help one person at a time. If this place gets it together, it will do even so much better. Nice people and delicious sweets.
July 14 · Jack LecheltExcellent cold brew coffee and sweets. Definitely stop by next time you visit Hershey Park.
June 06 · M JA must try but be prepared to be over charged.I don't even like ice cream but my kids got some here once and it was delicious. We tried the holiday special sandwich and my kids got sliders. They were good but expensive and didn't come with fries or anything. If I'm paying $17 for a damn sandwich then it should at least come with fries
