September 04 · Steve ChurchillWe went here for breakfast. The decor is showing its age, but, ignore the aging decor and enjoy home cooked meals. There is a bit of a wait for your order, but, the food is made to order and worth the wait. The coffee was fresh and hot. Our coffee cups were kept full. The sausage and biscuits with home made, house cut home fries was excellent. The prices were reasonable for the large portions that were served. Our check was just over $21 for our breakfast including taxes. When we're in the area we'll return here again.
October 06 · David LeveringI ordered food a milkshake and a scoop of lemon flavored hard ice cream in a dish. It took over 35 minutes with 3 ice cream orders ahead of me. The food was good but I tried to eat and enjoy the hard ice cream, but it was soupy and had the consistency of marshmallow cream. I went to the window and asked the young lady (she was nice and ended up embarrassed) if I could have a scoop of a different flavor, and she explained that all the hard ice cream was "soft". As we were speaking a middle age man spoke up (I believe he was a manager or owner) he asked me loudly in front of many other customers "what's wrong with it?" I nicely explained that my ice cream was soft and runny and he told me that all of the ice cream from the freezer was like that. (He had a rude demeanor also) I asked if I could have a dish of soft serve instead, he told me I could buy one because there was nothing wrong with my Lemon ice cream. I said well there was when you order hard ice cream you want to be able to eat it with a spoon and if I wanted a milkshake I would have ordered one. He stood firm and would not even give me a refund. I was disgusted not only by the dessert but by his attitude and I told the line of people that if they wanted hard ice cream not to buy it there because they would be disappointed also. I won't be back.
November 13 · Chasiti DascombMultiple times my family and I have came in the evening (7-8:30pm) and been turned down certain ice cream, the lights have been shut off on us or have been asked if our order is “easy”. If your hours are listed till 9, you should serve till 9. Not whenever the workers decide they’re slow and done. I’ve lived near my whole life. A little tip, you’ll make the most money after the ball games, yes after 8pm! ;) clean after your closing time! It’s summer, we want ice cream!
May 14 · Ceayra AltmanMade a special trip and arrived at 8:15 PM as soon as we pulled in the lights went off, if you’re going to have your hours say 11-9 don’t be so lazy that just because no one is there you decide to close down an entire hour before your publicly displayed hours. I love the ice cream but I guess y’all need better workers that’ll do their job right. 👎
