- Italian Ice: This is the cornerstone of Rita's appeal. Made fresh daily, their Italian Ice comes in a wide array of vibrant fruit flavors, offering a smooth, refreshing, and dairy-free treat. It's known for its unique texture that's neither ice nor sorbet, but a category all its own. Popular flavors often include cherry, lemon, mango, and more.
- Frozen Custard: For those who prefer a richer, creamier dessert, Rita's frozen custard is a must-try. Made with real dairy, eggs, and sugar, it boasts a remarkably smooth and dense texture, often compared to soft-serve ice cream but with a richer consistency. It's available in classic vanilla and chocolate, often with a rotating flavor of the day.

- Misto® Shakes: These are custom-blended drinks combining Italian Ice and frozen custard, resulting in a thick, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying shake. They are ideal for those who want a drinkable treat with a creamy consistency.
- Blendini®: Similar to a concrete or flurry, Blendinis mix frozen custard with your choice of toppings, such as cookies, candies, or fruit, creating a customizable and indulgent dessert.

There's a palpable excitement in the air when the shop announces its opening, often drawing crowds eager for their first water ice of the season. This seasonal anticipation creates a unique community bond around the establishment.
- Friendly Staff: Customer experiences often highlight the quality of service. While experiences can vary, many patrons, as indicated by a recent review, appreciate the "really nice people who work there." ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1It's spring time in Philly and it's wadder ice time 😊! Often jammed pack crowded at the corner of Hunting Park and Wissahickon Ave. But, this evening no one in line. Got me a small cherry and a pretzel with mustard. Service was good, there's some really nice people who work there. Rita's opening up, summer on its way. Time to hit Fairmont Park. Pics coming soon
April 05 · Michael HarrisBe aware!! This place may appear to be open but there's literally NO ONE HOME! Unbelievable...we waited for 15mins and one gentleman returned to say he was here 15mins before us, left to run errand and came back (he really really wanted to buy)! I left. I can't believe what the world is coming to when Rita's employees just walk out. Terrible
July 08 · Tamara QayyumThey were out of some things but overall he didn't disappoint
August 10 · SL AkinlosotuI love Rita's water ice...I just hate the long lines in the hot sun. Once I got charged the wrong amount, but they made it good. Its a lot of teens that work here and so far they have been professional and well mannered....shot out to u guyZ! But frfr put an awning or overhang or something for the sun. dang!
June 10 · R MackeyHonestly I was never a fan of Rita's water ice, I prefer Fred's water ice tbh lol but Rita's is overpriced and they didn't even have medium size cups, I had to get a large. I had a cotton candy water ice but that was incorrect, I wanted blue raspberry mixed with cotton candy & the cheese filled pretzel was okay, the dough in the middle wasn't fully cooked which was slightly disturbing by taste. Overall it was alright and knocked water ice n pretzel craving off.
