Taggarts is an absolute must-visit if you’re anywhere near Canton, Ohio! This place is a local legend for a reason — the ice cream up north just hits different, and you can really taste the quality here. Their old-fashioned sundaes and signature Bittner are amazing — so creamy and rich, with that nostalgic flavor you can’t get from big chains. The shop itself is super charming and feels like stepping back in time. Friendly staff, generous portions, and a true local favorite.

Expected better but that’s what happens when you expect!! Tried an early dinner, 1/2 lb hamburger was disappointing, my Fiancé grill cheese was good. Now the Ice Cream, I am an Ice Cream Connoisseur so with that being said, not impressed. I had the Buckeye Sundae, too many buckeyes and fudge, took away from the whole sundae, my fiancé had a butterscotch sundae and was not thrilled. OK but not top tier.

I am a long time Taggarts customer. It is a small restaurant, but they make amazing use of the space and I have always felt comfortable there. Known for its great ice cream and old soda shop classics. Try a phosphate or a mini bitner when you are there! It doesn't just have great ice cream, it's food menu is high quality. I recommend the wimpy or the executive if you want a great sandwiches. A truly unique and fun place that is very family friendly. If you are just visiting Canton, check out the hall of fame and taggarts to have a true Canton experience!

This place is a required destination when I come to visit my family. Their ice cream is beyond describable! I either get the buckeye or turtle sundae. So creamy and full of toppings. You've got to stop by there TODAY! After all, you work hard, you deserve it.

Usually one of my favorite places. Today I ordered food from there, simple stuff like burgers onion rings and a milkshake. Nothing came how I ordered it. I called to speak to someone and literally got hung up on. Complete disregard and disrespect for my business and hard earned money I chose to spend with them. Zero napkins. Zero condiments that were requested. Milkshake wrong. Then hung up on as if to say “oh well DEAL WITH IT!” Sad representation of the Taggarts brand that Ive been supporting for as long as I can remember. Things have changed.
