The Little Dipper offers a fantastic selection of treats that cater to a wide range of tastes. The ice cream selection is a major draw, with one customer noting a "fantastic selection" of flavors. This variety ensures that everyone, from the most traditional palate to the more adventurous, can find something to enjoy. Beyond the ice cream, the cafe likely offers other menu items consistent with its cafe-style setup. While the selection is praised, there are mixed reviews regarding the quality of some items and the portion sizes. One review mentions that the "cookie dough has had a taste of staleness," which raises concerns about inventory freshness. Another review points out that "prices are high on ice creams and portion sizes are not enough." These differing perspectives suggest that the customer experience can vary. However, the positive feedback on the selection indicates that there are plenty of options to explore. The menu is designed to provide a pleasant variety, making it a place where you can find both classic ice cream flavors and possibly other cafe-style snacks. The availability of diverse options, from cold treats to warm beverages, allows The Little Dipper to cater to different cravings and seasons, solidifying its place as a versatile local stop. On the other hand, the shop's "Pay It Forward" board is a significant feature that demonstrates a strong commitment to community and kindness, which is a big highlight for many. This unique initiative allows customers to buy a treat for a future customer in need, fostering a sense of shared goodwill. The presence of this board and the cozy atmosphere are strong indicators of a business that values more than just a transaction. The Little Dipper’s identity is multifaceted, a blend of a friendly cafe and a place with potential for improvement in terms of consistency and professional standards. May 12 · Grace WolbrinkBeen here a few times definitely not my favorite but it's closer to us than Diary Queen. Inside the shop it is very crowded, prices are extremely high for their cheap candies, prices are high on ice creams and portion sizes are not enough. Every time we've always walked in those girls are always talking to each other and come off as very unfriendly, they don't make much of an effort for customer communication. Their cookie dough has had a taste of staleness not fresh at all which is concerning that their inventory isn't taken seriously, it's a risk of food poisoning. Every time we've been there all of them look like they're wearing absolutely no pants, if they're under the age of 18 and this is what the owner approves of their attire I feel it's very inappropriate and I think they should all be ashamed of themselves. You're in a very conservative community they should learn to cover up especially in a workplace with food and children. It's definitely a turn off and can be a distraction to some. Don't come here often because of the prices. Not too impressed not worth going back.
June 29 · LaneyThis Starbucks(R) is one of the better I have been to. Great tasting coffees, teas, and cold beverages and great staff to boot! The service seems faster at this locale then others and I enjoy that. It is also conviently in a Meijer, for added awesome.
June 04 · Theo PrestonSuper cute vintage ice cream shop. The upstairs is a fun place to hang out with your favorite friends or a favorite book. Fun atmosphere. While there is limited seating inside, outside, there are plenty of tables and chairs to sit at and enjoy your ice cream treat. Also available is a hot food menu, including hot dogs. All this sweetness is located in the heart of Jamestown, MI.
