★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The ice cream was DELISH and reasonably priced. They had DAIRY FREE options which was amazing (they're So Delicious brand ice cream)!! The playground was pretty well shaded and the kids had a blast feeding and petting the animals (bring a few quarters for goat feed!)
June 28 · Emmelyn StiebA fun thing to do on a summer evening! We visited the ice cream shop tonight and the children loved the play ground and animals. Such a fun, cute place for children (and adults) to enjoy.
June 21 · Alissa BurkholderWhat a great find!! A market, diner, ice cream stand outback with fenced in goats, miniature horses and rabbits. Playgrounds with slides for the kids. Ice cream is fantastic!!
June 20 · Tony RudyWhen they say this is the Milkhouse at Oregon Dairy, they aren't kidding. When you order from the outside counter and enjoy your treats outside you can see the dairy from right where you are (and likely smell it too, haha). Do note, the outdoor counter is seasonal and closes during the winter so if enjoying your ice cream outdoors is your thing, plan your visit accordingly. However, definitely come by in the fall during peak fall foliage as you can get some nice views of the dairy in autumn. The outdoor seating area when I was there was nice and clean and plenty of shade for guests. Other than that, it's like those old-time ice cream stands you walk right up to the window from outside and order/receive your ice cream.I rated the food at four stars, but that is likely due to my choice of item being a milkshake made from hand-dipped ice cream more than the quality of the ice cream. The cookies and cream shake I had was really tasty but was a little thin for my preference since it was made from hand-dipped ice cream. But the other items I saw looked really good and they have a nice variety of flavors and treats to go around. I certainly would like to give them another try next summer and try a waffle cone or a sundae.Again, don't be discouraged from my choice of dish as the outside counter at the milkhouse is a great experience to enjoy some ice cream during the warmer months with the dairy in view and great scenery.
December 31 · Chad WinklerThe reason I love coming to the Oregon dairy is because of the animals. They have too many horses. They have four goats. They have about a dozen rabbits. You can hear all the birds in the trees. It is just a great environment to bring kids and have a fun afternoon. Also, all the ice cream is delicious.
