★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Very cute little hidden gem with parking. Flavors change weekly but the flavor is slightly regular to me. I’m a person who loves extensive flavors when it’s come to ice cream like other shops. I would definitely return and recommend due to the staff having great service, clean atmosphere and friendly.
July 27 · Coley JThe place was nice and homey. The service was top notch. The vanilla ice cream was fantastic. I normally get that first so I can see if they are working with a strong base or not.Their cinnamon roll was a cross between a honey bun and a cinnamon roll. Was good just felt like it needed a different glaze. The apple dumpling was good. The apple was soft. The pastry has a really good texture to it, but the sauce with the apple dumpling has too much nutmeg in it for me. The cinnamon was a bit over powdered. Otherwise it was really good.
October 26 · Kyle GowerWe had my daughter’s birthday party at Treat Down the Street recently, and it was the best time! They nailed every little detail, took care of everything including the entertainment, and the staff was amazing with the kids! And of course, the ice cream was tasty, too!
March 15 · Alexandra MikulisCute little "catch all" ice cream and snack shop in Aspinwall. My wife and I stopped on a Sunday after dinner at nearby Tepache, and got some ice cream on a warmer than expected October evening. The staff was friendly and the vibe of the place was fun and definitely kid oriented, which is always good for a place like an ice cream shop. The offerings seemed to be centered around said ice cream, but they also offered a wide array of almost random snacks, such as donuts and pretzels. It reminded me of a beachside canteen a bit in that way.I got the apple pie ice cream, and it was pretty good, with the pieces of apples and crust being preferred over simply flavoring agents. I think you can find better ice cream at few places around Pittsburgh (and the price for portion was kind of high, but makes sense for the area), but overall, it was a nice visit, and seems a great stop if you are in the Aspinwall area and have younger children in tow.
October 22 · Marcus BarkleyMy friend and I ducked in here to avoid a rainstorm. The staff was extremely pleasant. I found a new ice cream that I love (Mint Milano ), and learned how to play chess while waiting for the storm to pass. I also left with a croissant that has a chocolate chip cookie baked into it 🤤🤤
