★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Sad to see Dairy Freezze gone. It had become my go to mom and pop shop. Didn't realize they were bought out and my family and I are very disappointed with the new offerings. We ordered a strawberry shortcake and peanut butter cup flurry. The strawberry shortcake had barely any sauce/juice from the berries. The flurry had maybe a single PB cup worth of mix in. The price was too much for the lack of quality. It was also disappointing to see they switched over to all plastic cups. While it claims on the side it's "eco" it's simply a green wash that doesn't break down naturally. Probably won't go back. If I wanted the price tag and service of Treat Dreams I would go to the Ferndale store.
September 26 · Danialle BaumgardnerWent up to what used to be our favorite ice cream shop in Madison Heights only to find it had been changed into Treat Dreams. They have completely changed the menu and attempted to order two sundaes, but they were out of whip cream. Decided to still try our usual peanut butter sundae and turtle sundae. The peanut butter one was almost inedible. The whole middle of the sundae was packed full on nuts. Normally I'm all about extra toppings but this was just too much. Guess we will have to find another place to enjoy.
July 30 · Holly Hayter2 stars because the lady was super nice. But we lost shakers to golden cones expensive (but delicious) custard. However we relied on dairy freezze for their menu and size options. Seems all things are one sized, no more baby sizes or Jr sizes when all you want is a small bite after dinner which is what my wife and I liked to get when we took the kids. It's a bummer for the city 😕
September 19 · Joshua FreemanMeh. Dairy Frezzz that used to be here was amazing. The new place is very below average. Been there twice since the change and probably won’t return. I mean, yeah they have ice cream, menu is pretty small. First time ordered a waffle cone and the cone was paper thin and was already cracked when they handed it to me. 2nd time I wanted a milkshake and saw they only have one size (16oz), whatever, literally was handed a cup of ice cream and a straw and a spoon. Asked “that is a milkshake?!” And was told yes. So basically they don’t have milkshakes. They just serve cups of ice cream and charge you more when you ask for a milkshake. Just order a cup of ice cream and save some money. Its the same thing here.
August 07 · James DavidsonThe hard serve was basically all blue dyed vanilla ice cream, one bite had a tiny bit of oreo, no cookie dough at all, not at all like it was advertised in their menu board. Second time coming here, it's very mediocre. I miss dairy freezzz. Their menu and sizes were better.
