★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Somewhat conflicted review. The flavors are unique and the ice cream itself was great. Had the Spicy Peach with Tajin for instance. We found this sign unnecessarily mean and pointless. If there is another way to take this, please let me know. Otherwise, we can celebrate America without being a jerk about it.
July 06 · Blake EllavskyThis farm stand is super delightful. There is a store and an ice cream window. They have all sorts of flowers and plants out front. Walking in, I was greeted by a friendly employee. They had all sorts of items; ice cream, ice cream sandwiches, handmade soaps, jewelery, honey, maple syrup, candy, sauces, fruits, veggies, milk, eggs, lollipop, chocolate, meats, and various accessories. The store gave me that friendly small town vibe. The owners, The Tullers, have been farming on this land since 1768!I specifically went in for the ice cream; they had so many flavors to choose from. I had the m&m cookie and graham cracker ice cream sandwiches, the cookies were chewy and the ice cream was super creamy. I also had the pint of Ube (purple potato) boba ice cream; the ice cream was so smooth and creamy, the flavor of ube was light and delicious, the boba was hard and chewy. I think I'd like it more without the boba; I did notice they had the Ube and chocolate chip version I might try out next. I am looking forward to going back to get some more ice cream because they were so good and had so many flavors to try. I like that they experiment and have unique flavors. Also, I love to support small local businesses, especially when they produce quality items. There is a walking trail onsite. First, take a hike then get yourself an ice cream treat, it's a no brainer haha!
March 16 · Kim V.We decided to check out this ice cream spot after hearing a lot of local buzz. The drive through the countryside was actually quite nice, which was probably the highlight of the trip. Unfortunately, the rest didn’t live up to the hype. The farm itself looks old and run down, with not much to do or see once you’re there. As for the ice cream, it was seriously underwhelming. The ingredients didn’t taste fresh and the quality reminded me more of a grocery store brand than a local creamery. To make matters worse, the prices were surprisingly steep for what you get.Not sure why this place is so loved by others. Maybe it’s nostalgia or the setting, but for us, it just didn’t deliver.
June 17 · Anthony SchiappaI recently had the pleasure of visiting Tulmeadow Farm Store, and I must say, it was an absolute delight for the senses. The variety of flavors offered is truly remarkable. Each scoop is a work of art, lovingly crafted to perfection. Whether you're a traditionalist or an adventurer in the realm of taste, there's something for everyone. From Chocolate Chocolate Chips that bursts with creamy richness, to innovative flavors like Mocha Chocolate chips that tantalize the palate with a perfect balance of Sweet and coffee, every choice is a journey in itself. What truly sets this ice cream shop apart is the quality of their ingredients. You can taste the difference in every bite – the authentic, natural flavors shine through without any artificial aftertaste. The place is really nice and you can feel that you are in the farm. Overall I really this place.
August 23 · Tabrej ChowdhuryWhenever I'm stressed I take a trip out to Simsbury to Tulmeadow Farm Store. Not only can I get some of the best ice cream I've ever had, but the folks are friendly & it's a nice place to just sit & chill & eat your ice cream. Any time someone comes to visit, we take them to Tulmeadow & we've never had a complaint. Definitely check them out if you haven't already!
