A hallmark of their Snowstorms is the generous amount of toppings, with some customers noting the abundance of mix-ins that go all the way to the bottom of the cup.
Specialty Sundaes and Parfaits: From classic sundaes with hot fudge or caramel to unique specialty options like the Grasshopper (chocolate soft serve with chocolate syrup, mint topping, and Andes Mints) or the Turtle (vanilla soft serve, caramel topping, chocolate syrup, and pecans), there is a sundae for every craving. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I’ve been a customer of whippy dip since they opened in 1965 and they have demonstrated consistent improvement in their menu options over those 60 years if you’re looking for any soft serve ice cream treat and you’re in the area. This is a must stop.
July 03 · Marty AftewiczMy very favorite ice cream shop. I've been getting their oreo Snowstorm and I've got to say they're the best. Oreo all the way to the bottom of the cup! Delicious!
July 14 · Raymond NellisWonderful place for a cold treat! We stumbled onto this place when passing through town and found a new favorite spot! The soft serve is delicious and they have different weekly special flavors (besides vanilla and chocolate) and so they are so good! The peanut butter special (Scooby Doo Snowstorm) was especially delicious!
June 16 · Paul DuretteStopped on a whim for blue moon but went with one of the specials they had since they didn't have blue moon. When I got it, it was missing the flavored soft serve. When I told the girl behind the counter she said it wasn't written as banana and I had to read off the what was in the parfait to her before she pulled the display out of the window to see what was supposed to be in the parfait. If you're gonna have so many specials at least make sure your employees know them and don't argue with customers when they don't get what they ordered. Overall a disappointing trip for a place I previously had fond memories of.
May 11 · Joetta CaseyMy happy place. I grew up on 23rd and chestnut been going there since I was 14. Great banana splits. Blue moon is my favorite.
