★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Edit: I went back and they don’t carry non-dairy. What a shame. It’s frozen, it won’t go bad. This happened in California as well I noticed.Suggestion: carry more and carry different flavors of non-dairy, push it, sample it, you’ll find that you’ll sell more.Five star review is downgraded.I had the vegan, oat milk, milkshake. And it was outstanding. I love this place. I highly recommended. There is parking and back and you can park on the street behind the place. There’s some meters back there. But there is a small lot in back you could drive in. I think it’s right next to a bank. Anyway, the vegan ice cream is outstanding.
April 20 · Michael Ai’ve been wanting to try this place for a while and went for the customer appreciation special. the ice cream was delicious! and they had so many fun and different flavors to choose from. i look forward to trying their different seasonal ones! that being said, the service was terrible. it was obvious that the young employees were in no rush despite the line of people waiting. the service should have been quicker and more efficient with 3 people working and scooping mostly simple cones. they were disorganized and giving the wrong orders to people, causing an even longer wait. i stood there and got the window shut in my face 3 of 4 times before anyone even acknowledged me. i hope for a better experience the next time i go.
July 15 · Kristin PerryDelicious ! Went to their opening :) the ice cream is so decadent! Limited seating, no handicap parking available for right in front, staff is patient & let me try some flavors to get the perfect one. I got the seasonal caramel apple crunch. Super sweet but worth it :) the train passed by about 2 times that we were there it was SUPER loud.
September 07 · Daisy AbrigoWe finally decided to check this place out, waiting a few months after it first opened to avoid the crowds. There is metered street parking along Broadway, and in the back there is a metered parking lot. The staff was welcoming and were efficient taking and preparing our orders. We ordered a regular mint chocolate chip in a waffle cone, a small butter brickle in a waffle cone, and a regular apple crisp (both available for a limited time) in a waffle cone. They were delicious, a good size, and fairly priced. Luckily, I was able to use one of the coupons I found in the local paper for a BOGO waffle cone.It has a small storefront where you place your order at the window, and there is only outdoor seating available. They have an extensive menu and we'll definitely be back to try more!
October 13 · Venessa ManzanoI went in tonight and asked for a bowl with three scoops—two cookies and cream, one pistachio—with rainbow sprinkles. Simple enough. The girl helping me (possibly in training) seemed confused and asked if I wanted rainbow ice cream and three separate bowls. I politely clarified, but she got flustered and rolled her eyes. The girl training her brought out my ice cream—and it still wasn’t right. I laughed it off, but then they closed the window and started talking about me in a way that was completely obvious. I’ve read other reviews and it seems I’m not the only one who’s experienced this kind of rude behavior. This isn’t the first issue I’ve had either. A while ago, I placed a DoorDash order an hour before closing, and the order was completely wrong—almost like it was done on purpose. I called and spoke with the manager, who admitted it wasn’t the first time he’s heard complaints. He said he’d talk to the staff, but nothing has changed since. What really stands out is the difference in experience compared to Conrad’s. One time I accidentally showed up there right before they closed, and I didn’t even realize. Despite being busy and at the end of the night, the staff was still warm, welcoming, and kind. Their ice cream is homemade and absolutely delicious—and the customer service is consistently excellent.I will not be returning to Brewsters. The service is disappointing, the environment feels unwelcoming, and the ice cream simply isn’t worth the hassle. I’ll stick with Conrad’s, where the ice cream is better, the staff is friendlier, and the experience is always a positive one.P.S. The automated responses from the manager come across as impersonal and lack any real empathy or accountability. They do little to address concerns or show a genuine effort to improve the customer experience.
