For locals in Westland, Michigan, this Dairy Queen (Treat) location is a suitable option for a convenient and familiar frozen dessert experience. Its primary appeal lies in offering the extensive range of Dairy Queen's classic soft-serve ice cream products, particularly the ever-popular Blizzard® Treats, which many Michigan residents enjoy. The ease of access due to its location on Ford Road, a major thoroughfare, ensures that it's a simple stop for a quick treat, whether you're craving something sweet after work or planning a casual family outing.
However, it is important for local patrons to be aware that customer experiences can vary significantly. While some general reviews for Dairy Queen as a brand highlight friendly staff and good food quality, specific feedback for this Westland location points to inconsistencies in customer service, with instances of unhelpful staff, refusal to serve available ice cream flavors due to perceived inconvenience, and issues with order accuracy or quality (e.g., unfilled cups, broken cones). These isolated but noted concerns suggest that while the menu offers classic appeal, the in-store service experience at this particular branch may sometimes fall short of expectations. Therefore, while it remains a convenient choice for a quick and familiar treat in Westland, potential customers in Michigan might consider managing their expectations regarding service quality based on available feedback.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I came in tonight with me and a few of my friends. I picked up a few ice creams, nothing too crazy. I was greeted by this very unfriendly worker named Lillian. She opened the window and asked me why I was staring at her. I’m a little on the bigger side so I was really looking forward to my ice cream and that’s all I was staring at. She then took one of my ice creams off. She then looked at the girl she was working with laughed and then the other girl said that the ice cream had to be remade. I don’t understand what her issue is and I don’t get why she said this to me. I was looking in the window because I was waiting for my ice cream. Something needs to be done because this is not the first time that Lillian has done this to me specifically. thank you.
March 01 · David BrownWhen I say my daughter and I had some of freshest ! Juiciest! Rotisserie bites , I also ordered a chicken sandwich , that I would’ve paid $15 easy healthy quick options and the CUSTOMER SERVICE! From the MANAGER! I had to do this review yall , I dined in and It WAS WORTH IT 🥰😋
June 03 · RahDesirez StreetUsually I would give a good review for this place. However, their prices Went up and the sizes got smaller. I just placed an order. Ask for chocolate ice cream with no whip, got vanilla ice cream she remade but it had whipped cream & no instead of extra caramel there was none. For a $ 7.00 ice cream I'd like better service
March 03 · TheresaI was next door at Liv today for a big holiday weekend sale they were having. Liv opened at 10 the DQ at 1030. My plan was to go to Liv and hit some morning sweet treats before heading home. Man was I wrong. When I pulled into the DK parking lot the owner or manager was shouting at other people about not parking in the lot to shop at Liv. To be fair they do have tow away signs in the lot. I can understand not wanting people to loiter in the lot. Im trying to hit the icecream shop tho remeber so i ask the shouting man if I wanted to grab some ice cream when they opened but was going to run to Liv first could I park in. I was immediately also shouted at called names and was told they didn't want my business. At least be professional and talk to potential customers like people. You would think someone would want the hundreds of peoples business on a friday but ill go down the street to dairy dan from now on.
August 30 · Matthew HensleyWe come here once a week. The food is always, the team members are always nice and it’s definitely clean. 💎💖
