It was a great experience. They have a great process to get everyone taken care of in a timely fashion. There was a small line when I first got there and I thought I would wait long but to my surprise it was fairly quick. Got my ice cream and went about my way with the nuggets they had seating outside and in but I chose to hang out in my car.

I worked at this DQ as a teen in the late 90's and was so happy to take my kids here on our visit to NJ. And was stoked to find that it's still family owned. George was a great guy to work for back in the day. I love that Linda still has a line of kids out the door. Great vibes.

The best ice cream cakes! I ordered one just 2 days before my son’s 3rd birthday. I asked for a ‘Toy Story’ theme. The cake was perfect! I ordered one from Oakland the year before and was totally disappointed. The one from wyckoff was perfect!!

After a particularly hot late summer day, I found this Dairy Queen in Wyckoff to be most convenient. I enjoyed a strawberry sundae which really hit the spot. The seating was quite adequate, and service was polite and friendly. This particular Dairy Queen also has a drive thru. I found it to be a most enjoyable respite from the heat of the day.One added piece of atmosphere to the outside of the building, and that is on the backside, where one can find a large statue of a bear enjoying an ice cream cone. Hey, what can I say? The bear knows something good when he has it, and the statue does bring about a few smiles.

I’ve been coming to Dairy Queen for over 50 years, and over 20 years at this specific location. However, after my recent experience, I will not be returning.I visited the Wyckoff location with my family, and my 10-year-old son tried some sort of cherry vanilla hard ice cream. He didn’t like it at all and said it tasted like medicine. I kindly went back to the window and asked if they could swap it for something else, but the teenage employees at the window were rude and insisted they couldn’t take it back. After explaining that my son loves Dairy Queen, they still refused, saying they couldn’t refund it.I asked for the manager, and while I explained that I’ve been a loyal customer for decades, I was only asking for a simple swap to a classic chocolate flavor. The manager also refused to help, though he said if my son dropped the ice cream, they’d replace it. Go figure. Eventually, they gave us another variety, but it was clear they were upset about it.To make matters worse, there were a bunch of young, disrespectful kids outside, cursing, adding to the negative experience. After more than 20 years of loyalty to this location, I will not be returning.
