Franklin's Ice Cream Introduce
In Waterville, Ohio, every neighborhood has its local haunts and convenient spots that become part of the community fabric. Franklin's Ice Cream is one such place, serving as both a corner store and an ice cream shop for residents in the immediate vicinity. Its appeal lies in its convenience and its ability to provide a quick stop for a variety of needs, from a simple snack to a frozen treat. For those living nearby, it’s a place that allows them to "just grab something quickly," saving them a trip to a larger, more crowded grocery store. This role as a local, accessible hub is a key part of what makes it a notable business in the Waterville community.
Franklin's Ice Cream has developed a reputation for being a friendly, neighborhood spot. One customer review highlighted the positive interactions with the cashier, who is assumed to be the owner, and described him as "a nice guy." This personal touch is a significant part of the experience at a small, local business. The shop is also noted for its convenient location and "great selection" of products. However, as is the case with many small businesses, there are policies that can impact a customer's experience. A review mentioned a specific charge for small credit card purchases, which has caused some customers to seek out other options nearby. This feedback, while critical, highlights the importance of a business's policies and how they can shape customer behavior. Despite this, for many, the convenient location and friendly service continue to make Franklin's Ice Cream a valuable part of their neighborhood.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This is a cute store, and great for those of us in the neighborhoods nearby who need to just grab something quickly. However, the policy of charging someone $.75 for purchases under seven dollars, when using your credit or debit card, is ridiculous. I am Pretty sure the credit card companies don't allow businesses to do such a thing. I know for a fact that I'm not the only one who now drives one block down the street to Rite Aid or two minutes farther to Kroger to get what we need to avoid this charge.
August 02 · Matt MayerI have visited this location when in town a handful of times. Most times I end up speaking to the cashier (who I assume is the owner) about his family and such. Such a nice guy. They are conveniently located for the neighborhood and have a great selection.

December 31 · A Google UserThe employee serving us was extremely rude and even made angry remarks when I received the wrong kind of ice cream from him. I do not recommend going here, the ice cream was good but the service was horrible. (3/20/22 @ 7:00pm)
