Jerry’s Custard Introduce
Jerry’s Custard has quickly become a beloved new addition to the Pittsburgh dessert scene, establishing itself as a go-to spot for locals seeking a fresh and flavorful frozen treat. Located in the Fox Chapel area, this charming custard stand offers a unique experience that combines classic desserts with a modern, friendly atmosphere. While it may be a newer establishment, it has already garnered a reputation for its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. The menu, centered around frozen custard, provides a delightful alternative to traditional ice cream, offering a richer, denser texture that many Pennsylvanians are growing to love. Customers have been quick to praise the taste and experience, with one reviewer exclaiming, "So yum," and highlighting the fun of the "Cookie Monster flavor" which, while messy, is "worth it." This kind of playful, engaging approach to flavors is a key part of what makes Jerry's Custard so appealing. The owner, Jerry, has put his heart and soul into creating a welcoming space that caters to the community. This focus on both product and people is what makes Jerry’s Custard more than just a place to get dessert; it’s a spot where locals can create new memories and enjoy a delicious treat in a pleasant setting. June 24 · Nicole OConnorJerry's is a cute, new custard stand. The staff were friendly and asked if there were other flavors I would like to taste. I tried black raspberry and orange dream with both being good flavors. The consistency of the custard was not quite on point - a bit icy and gummy, but I loved the waffle cone! It tasted fresh and was huge for a small. Nice outdoor area to enjoy your custard. Downside, very limited parking that backs into a busy road.
June 11 · Bri Wattsweet little side of the road frozen custard stand. every staff member i’ve interacted with has been delightful. the custard is a great texture and while i find some of the flavors to be a bit sweet, the flavors that are good are very good.
June 11 · Cal “Stone” BreitbachSuper excited that this new custard place opened up near me. Very few custard places in this general area.So I've gone two times and really enjoyed the custard each time. I tried several flavors: cookie monster, raspberry cheesecake, and salted caramel cheesecake. All of them were really tasty. I love how soft and creamy the custard is. It even retains that softness when you buy a quart and put it in your freezer. Somehow I could easily scoop it out immediately with a regular spoon and it's never hard like ice cream, which I really appreciate. I love soft custard. The flavors change daily and get posted on their social media. They offer scoops, milkshakes, floats, and more. I was really intrigued by the idea of an ice cream flight with 6 flavors, but that might be too much for me.The waffle cone is ridiculously large. If you want to go into an ice cream coma, get a waffle cone. One scoop is so large, but two scoops could drown you. 😂 I don't think I'd ever go for three scoops. They also have a nice seating area. The parking seems a little limited and awkwardly located along a busy road. Otherwise, it's a great spot for custard.
July 07 · V SMy kids love their flight! It's perfect for a six member family.👍🍨
